Builtzer (“Builtzer,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting the privacy of every individual who uses our services, including the Builtzer mobile application, the Builtzer PRO web platform, and related products (collectively, the “Platform”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your information across all user types, including home buyers, household members, builders, realtors, and certified partners (collectively, “Users”).

1. Information We Collect

  1. Information You Provide

    • Personal details such as name, email, phone number, and address.

    • Professional details such as builder name, company details, realtor license, or partner affiliation.

    • Registration information, including buyer–builder or buyer–realtor connections, and household member information you submit.

    • Documents, messages, photos, or other materials uploaded through the Platform.

  2. Information Collected Automatically

    • Device identifiers, IP address, operating system, and browser type.

    • Platform activity, such as features accessed, pages viewed, and interactions.

    • Location data, if device settings allow.

  3. Information From Third Parties

    • Information provided by builders, realtors, or partners who register you.

    • Publicly available information to confirm professional credentials.

    • Data from third-party integrations you choose to use.

2. Household Member Information

Buyers may add household members to their account. By doing so, you represent that you have the authority to share their personal information with Builtzer and with your registered builder, realtor, or partner. Household members may contact Builtzer directly to request access, corrections, or deletion of their data.

3. How We Use Information

We use collected information for purposes including:

  • Operating, maintaining, and improving the Platform.

  • Facilitating buyer–builder–realtor relationships and builder registration.

  • Providing buyers with home details, documents, and progress updates through the HomeHub.

  • Enabling communication among buyers, builders, realtors, and certified partners.

  • Offering buyer-requested access to certified partners.

  • Analyzing usage trends to improve features and functionality.

  • Complying with legal and regulatory obligations.

4. Sharing of Information

We may share information as follows:

  • With Builders, Realtors, and Partners – When you register or connect with them, relevant information is shared to support that relationship.

  • Certified Partner Network – If you choose to connect with a certified partner, your information will be shared with them. Builtzer does not control how partners use or protect your information, and their practices are governed by their own privacy policies.

  • With Service Providers – We rely on trusted third parties such as Google Cloud, SendGrid, and OneSignal to operate the Platform.

  • Legal Requirements – When required by law, regulation, legal process, or government request.

  • Business Transfers – If Builtzer undergoes a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Builtzer does not sell personal information.

5. Builder Content Responsibility

Builders are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of the information, documents, and updates they upload into the Platform, including any content shared with buyers through the HomeHub. Builtzer is not responsible for the accuracy of builder-provided content.

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies, analytics, and similar technologies to:

  • Recognize returning users.

  • Understand how the Platform is used.

  • Improve functionality and user experience.

  • Deliver relevant communications.

Users can control cookie settings through their browser. Disabling cookies may limit certain Platform features.

7. User Choices and Rights

  • Account Updates – You may review and update your account information at any time.

  • Registration Management – Buyers may register with multiple builders and may revoke or change registrations at any time.

  • Communication Preferences – You may manage notifications and communication settings.

  • Deletion Requests – You may request deletion of your data, subject to our legal or contractual obligations.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may also have specific rights under applicable privacy laws (see Section 9).

8. Data Security

We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. Despite these efforts, no system can guarantee complete security.

9. Compliance with Privacy Laws

Builtzer complies with applicable U.S. and international privacy laws, including:

  • California CCPA/CPRA – California residents may request access to, deletion of, or disclosure about personal information collected.

  • Other U.S. State Laws – Certain rights may apply to residents of Colorado, Virginia, Utah, and other states.

  • GDPR (Europe) – If applicable, users in the European Economic Area have rights including access, correction, portability, restriction, objection, and erasure of their data.

Requests to exercise privacy rights may be submitted directly to Builtzer using the contact information in Section 12.

10. Data Retention

We retain information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

11. International Users

If you access the Platform from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your home jurisdiction.

12. Children’s Privacy

The Platform is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where required by law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover such information has been collected, it will be deleted.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted with a revised “Effective Date.” Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted signifies your acceptance of those updates.
